Hi, I’m Joan, the heart behind HerTable&Co.

Creativity has always been a part of my life from furnishing and styling our vacation homes and rentals to hosting gatherings where friends and family could come together around a beautiful table. For me, creating spaces where people feel welcomed and connected has always been deeply fulfilling.

When I turned 30, I found it surprisingly difficult to meet new friends in a new chapter of life. So I decided to do something bold; I posted an open invitation online for a picnic, hoping a few people might show up. To my surprise, a wonderful group of women came, and what began as a simple gathering quickly turned into meaningful friendships and lasting connections.

That moment sparked something special. It was the beginning of what would eventually become HerTable&Co a way to bring people together through thoughtfully designed gatherings.

Today, I continue to explore and refine the art of gathering. I’m always learning, improving, and discovering new ways to create beautiful moments where people can connect, celebrate, and share experiences they’ll remember long after the table is cleared.

Because sometimes all it takes is a table, a beautiful setting, and an open invitation to bring people together.
